Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the right rear wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the right rear wheel drive shaft. Refer to Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .
  4. Carefully pry out the output shaft seal and discard.
