Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Inspect the CMP sensor for damage, replace as necessary.
  1. Lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor. (Intake CMP shown, exhaust CMP similar).
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the exhaust CMP sensor.
