Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner assembly.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly.

  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  4. Disengage the 2 retaining clips (1) securing the air cleaner upper half to the lower half.
  5. Open the air cleaner upper half and remove the air filter.
