Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air filter and close the air cleaner upper half.
  2. Engage the 2 retaining clips (1) securing the air cleaner upper half to the lower half.

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.

  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
