Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  2. Remove the front lower air deflector.

  3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor (O2S) electrical connectors (1, 2).
  4. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (3.5L (L66)) .
  5. Remove the catalytic converter bracket.
  6. Remove the catalytic converter nuts.
  7. Remove the catalytic converter.
