Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (2.2L (L61)) or Battery Tray Replacement (2.4L (LAT)) or Battery Tray Replacement (3.5L (L66)) . Disconnect the fluid pump inlet pipe from the auxiliary fluid pump. Refer to Auxiliary Fluid Pump Inlet Pipe Replacement . Disconnect the fluid pump outlet pipe from the auxiliary fluid pump. Refer to Auxiliary Fluid Pump Outlet Pipe Replacement . Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary fluid pump.
1	Transaxle Auxiliary Fluid Pump Bolt (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Transaxle Auxiliary Fluid Pump NOTE: Transmission Auxiliary Pump Priming must be performed after any service procedure is performed on the transmission that involves the draining of and refill of transmission fluid. Failure to perform the Transmission Auxiliary Pump Priming will result in damage to the auxiliary pump and possible damage to the transmission.

Disconnect the fluid pump outlet pipe from the auxiliary fluid pump. Refer to Auxiliary Fluid Pump Outlet Pipe Replacement .
Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary fluid pump.

Transaxle Auxiliary Fluid Pump Bolt (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
