TCC Control Solenoid Valve

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Saturn Vue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When conditions are appropriate, the PCM energized the TCC control solenoid valve in order to initiate the TCC apply. The solenoid valve is pulse width modulated (PWM) in order to provide a smooth TCC apply (Refer to Electronic Component Description (Output) under Description and Operation  for a detailed description of the TCC control solenoid valve operation). When energized, the solenoid valve modulates the filtered 2-3 drive fluid into the TCC signal fluid circuit.
