Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor.
    3. Fig 1: TFT Sensor, Bolt & Screw

    IMPORTANT: Do not damage the TFT sensor or transaxle case.
  3. Remove the TFT sensor bolt/screw.
  4. Remove the TFT sensor and the O-ring.
