Installation Procedure

  1. Install a new mainshaft end cover seal (6).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the mainshaft end cover (4) to the transmission.

    Tighten:  Tighten the mainshaft end cover bolts to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).

  3. Install the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  4. Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
