Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the wheel driveshaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (Non Hybrid) or Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (Hybrid) .

  4. Use the SA9133T  in order to remove the seal.
  5. Inspect the seal bore for nicks or for burrs. Clean the bore with a fine grade sandpaper, if necessary.
