Removal & Installation (Pickup)

Raise the vehicle. Relieve the fuel pressure. Disconnect the fuel pipes from the fuel cooler. See QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS (METAL COLLAR) . Remove the retaining bolts from the chassis and crossover. Remove the fuel cooler. Remove the fuel cooler support bracket from the fuel cooler. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
