Removal & Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve vent solenoid electrical connector. See Fig 1. Disconnect the EGR vent solenoid vacuum lines. Remove the EGR valve vent solenoid bolt and the solenoid. To install, reverse removal procedure.
