Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Align the wire harness to the sunroof module.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the following components:
    • The control switch
    • The express module
    • The actuator
  3. Install new nylon tie straps to the express module and the drive cable tube.
  4. Install new tape to hold the wire harness to the module.
  5. Cycle the sunroof and check for correct operation.
  6. Install the rear shelf. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
