Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the sunroof actuator to the sunroof module.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the wiring harness.
  3. Push the sunroof actuator straight in to engage its drive gear into the Position Encoding System Module.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the sunroof actuator screws (1) to the sunroof actuator.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the sunroof actuator screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the tie strap to the wiring harness (2).

  6. Inspect the operation of the sunroof module.
  7. Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
