Transmission Cooler Line Seals Removal

Tools Required:

J 45201 Cooler Line Seal Remover. See Special Tools .

Insert the collet (2) of the J 45201 completely into the fluid cooler pipe fitting seal (87). See Special Tools .
Insert the forcing screw (1) of the J 45201 into the collet (2). See Special Tools .
Tighten the forcing screw (1) until snug.

Thread the collar (1) of the J 45201 onto the collet (3) until snug. See Special Tools .

Using an adjustable wrench, turn the collar clockwise in order to remove the fluid cooler pipe fitting seal (87).
Discard the fluid cooler pipe fitting seal.
Clean the case bores for the fluid cooler pipe fitting seals as needed.
