1	Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?	Go to Step 2	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster
2	Install a scan tool. Turn ignition ON, with the engine OFF. With a scan tool, observe the Oil Life Reset Switch parameter in the BCM Switch Inputs data list. Does the Oil Life Reset parameter display High?	Go to Step 3	Go to Step 4
3	With a scan tool, observe the Oil Life Reset Switch parameter. Press the oil life reset switch. Does the Oil Life Reset Switch parameter display Low with the switch pressed?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 5
4	Test the oil life reset switch signal circuit for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 5
5	Replace the under hood fuse block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 7	-
6	Replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 7	-
7	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	System OK	Go to Step 2
