Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
  2. Remove the rear door inner energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Inner Rear .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  4. Remove the rear door outer energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Outer Rear .
  5. Remove the rear door inner window sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
  6. Remove the rear door stationary window molding. Refer to Window Molding Replacement - Rear Door Stationary .
  7. Remove the rear door frame applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
  8. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
  9. Remove the rear door outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
  10. Remove the rear door inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Inside .
  11. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door .
  12. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
  13. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .

  14. Disconnect the wiring harness.
  15. Remove the rear door bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Bottom Auxiliary .
  16. Remove the rear door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Rear Door .
  17. Remove the rear door side molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE .
  18. Remove the rear door lower finish panel. Refer to FINISH PANEL REPLACEMENT -- DOOR LOWER .
  19. Support the rear door.
  20. Remove the intermediate rear door hinge bolts.
  21. Remove the rear door, with an assistant.
