Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR  .
  3. IMPORTANT: Water deflectors seal the inner panel. Water deflectors prevent water from entering into the body. A strip of adhesive between the deflector and the door secures the deflector.
  4. Peel the water deflector (1) away from the door.
