Removal Procedure

Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR .
Remove the upper access cover, if equipped.

Remove the lock rods (1) from the lock assembly (1 and 3).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the lock (5).
Remove the lock bolts (1).

Remove the lock from the door (2).
