Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

IMPORTANT: Install new plastic retainer clips whenever the lock rods are removed.

Install the lock rod lever to the door.
Install the remote lock lever to the clip (2).
Use the M 39010 in order to install door rivets.

Install the lock rods to the remote lock lever.
Install the water deflector and the armrest bracket. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR .
Install the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - DOOR .
