Removal (HO2S 1, Banks 1 & 2 - 3.0L)

Bank 1 are cylinders No. 1, 3 and 5 which are closest to the front of the dash. Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the HO2S 1 harness connector. See Figure or Figure . Use a liquid penetrate before removing the sensor. Using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J39194C), remove the HO2S from the exhaust manifold.
