Removal (HO2S 1 - 2.2L)

Turn OFF the ignition. HO2S 1 is located in exhaust manifold. See Figure . Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector. Remove the sensor harness and connector from the HO2S 1 retaining clip. Use a liquid penetrate before removing the sensor. Using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J39194C), remove the HO2S from the exhaust manifold.
