Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: The ignition switch must be in the OFF position when removing the instrument panel cluster (IPC).
  1. Remove the cluster trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER  .
  2. Remove the screws from the IPC.
  3. In order to remove the IPC, perform the following procedures:
    1. 3.1. Rotate the top of the cluster rearward.
    2. 3.2. Disengage the locating pins on the bottom of the cluster.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cluster.
