Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT  .
  2. Open the I/P compartment.
  3. Release the loop of the damper cord (1) from the I/P support.

  4. Remove the screws from the I/P compartment hinge.
  5. Press inward on both sides of the I/P compartment housing and rotate down and out of the I/P.
