Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the engine block heater cord from the engine block heater.

  3. Remove the engine block heater cord straps.
  4. Disconnect the upper engine block heater cord from the diagonal brace strap.
  5. Remove the engine block heater cord.
