Turn the engine OFF. Apply the parking brake. Loosen the fuel filler cap. On Vans, attach a 1/4-5/16" (6.35-7.74 mm) ID flexible hose. On all models, place a suitable container under the filter drain. Slowly open the water drain valve. Allow filter to drain until clear fuel is observed. Close the drain valve. Start the engine. If the water-in-fuel lamps comes ON again, repeat draining until all of the water is drained from the fuel manager/filter. If water-in-fuel lamp keeps coming ON, the fuel tank should be checked for contamination. Dispose of the drained mixture properly.
