Removal & Installation

On vans, remove the air cleaner assembly. See AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. On all models, drain the cooling system below the level of the sensor. Remove the harness connector from Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor by releasing the locking tab. Remove the ECT sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Refill the cooling system. See DRAINING & FILLING  under COOLING SYSTEMS. Tighten fasteners properly. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
