Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sierra and 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts (1) and the push pins (2) that retain the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator brace.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

  3. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Oil Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting   . 
  4. Install the front grill assembly. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLD STYLE) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE CHEVROLET) .
