Installation Procedure

  1. Install the axle shaft seal.
  2. Install the axle shaft. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft Replacement (8.6 Inch, 9.5 Inch Axles)  or Rear Axle Shaft Replacement (9.75 Inch Axle) .
  3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
