Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper grille baffle.
  2. Remove the front grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLD STYLE)  or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE GMC)  or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE CHEVROLET)  .

  3. Remove the power steering outlet hose (4) from the power steering gear (3).
  4. Remove the power steering inlet hose from the power steering pump (1).

  6. Remove the bolts (2) retaining the cooler to the radiator support.
  7. Remove the power steering cooler from the vehicle.
