Removal (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L & 8.1L)

  1. Loosen hose clamps on both ends of air duct. See Figure. Remove upper radiator hose clip from air duct. Remove air duct.
  2. On 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L models, lift upward on the Gray retainer of the MAF sensor harness connector until a click is heard. On all models, disconnect MAF sensor harness connector. Loosen hose clamp securing MAF sensor to air cleaner assembly. Pull MAF sensor from air cleaner assembly.
