Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hanger reinforcement, if necessary.
  2. Install the push-on retainer, if necessary.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the muffler hanger and nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the muffler hanger nuts to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  4. Install the muffler. Refer to Muffler Replacement - Left  or Muffler Replacement - Right .
