Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear suspension adjustment link (2) to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the rear suspension adjustment link nut (1) to the back side of the crossmember.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear suspension adjustment link nut to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  4. Install the outer tie rod end into the suspension knuckle. Refer to Tie Rod Replacement (Outer End)  or Tie Rod Replacement (Suspension Link) .
  5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Adjust the rear wheel toe as necessary. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
