Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Folding Top With The #1 Bow And The #5 Bow Up

  1. Position the top with the #1 bow up.
  2. Remove the seal compression panel. Refer To Folding Top Seal Compression Panel Replacement .
  3. Using a grease pencil mark the location of the top cover where it wraps over the #1 bow to aid in installation.

  5. Using a pair of needle nose pliers remove the top cover staples from the #1 bow.

  7. Using a pair of needle nose pliers remove the headliner staples from the #1 bow

  9. Remove the tension cables screws from the #1 bow.

  11. Remove the headliner screws from the #1 bow.

  13. Remove the headliner push on retainers from the #1 bow.
  14. Fold the top cover back over the #2 bow.

  16. Using a pair of needle nose pliers remove the stay pad staples from the #2 bow.

  18. Remove the headliner screws from the #2 bow.

  20. Remove the #2 bow screws from the main control link bracket.
  21. Remove the #2 bow.
