"E" & "K" Bodies

  1. Position shift lever in Neutral. Loosen shift indicator adjustment nut on steering column. Slide adjuster until shift indicator is centered in Neutral.
  2. Move shift lever through all positions, and back to Neutral to check adjustment. Verify pointer indicates proper gear position, and does not show 2 gear positions at same time. See Fig 1.
