Removal & Installation (3.8L - VIN 1)

  1. Remove the boost control solenoid. See BOOST CONTROL SOLENOID . Disconnect the vacuum hose from the bypass valve actuator. See Figure.
  2. Remove the bypass valve actuator mounting bolts and rotate the bypass valve actuator until the rod disengages the lever. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the bypass valve actuator mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
