Balance Shaft Cleaning and Inspection

- Clean the balance shaft.
- Inspect the balance shaft bearing/bushing journals for excessive wear.
- Inspect the balance shaft driven gear and the balance shaft drive gear for nicks and burrs.
- Inspect the balance shaft retainer for damage.
- Inspect the balance shaft threads for damage.
- Repair or replace the balance shaft components as necessary.
