Installation Procedure

  1. Install the trim panel to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES.
  2. Install the screws that retain the trim panel to the cowl side.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws that retain the trim panel to the cowl side to 2 N.m (18 in. lb.).

  3. Install the driver's or the passenger's knee bolster. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES & CONSOLE .
