Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate garnish molding (1). Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE  .
  2. Remove the control rods from the actuator lever (2).
  3. Remove the liftgate latch screws (6).

  4. Remove the slide latch (4) from the liftgate.
  5. Remove the control rod from the liftgate.
  6. Remove the control rod from the liftgate latch.
