Door Rattle Adjustment - Rear

  1. Check the spring-retained bumper on the lower edge of the door for tension. Replace the bumper assembly, if needed.
  2. Loosen the bolts that retain the edge guard plate on the rear door frame.
  3. Slide the plate forward.
    4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM Vehicles Cautions & Notices.
  4. Tighten the bolts that retain the edge guard plate on the rear door frame. Tighten:  Tighten the bolts that retain the edge guard plate on the rear door frame to 5 N.m (45 lb in).
