Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES.
  1. Install the secondary hood latch to the hood. Position the tab into the slot.
  2. Install the hood latch bolt. Tighten:  Tighten the hood latch bolt to 27 N.m (20 ft. lb.).
