Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the temperature/compass electronic display module (2).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the display lens and the switch plate (1).
  4. Install the overhead console (3). Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - OVERHEAD .
  5. Recalibrate the compass. Refer to Electronic Compass Calibration  .
