Compressor Pressure Relief Valve Install (V5 - Direct Mount)

Tool Required
J 41790 Compressor Holding Fixture
- Clean the pressure relief valve seat area of the rear head.
- Lubricate the O-ring of the new pressure relief valve with clean 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the new pressure relief valve into the compressor.
Tighten
Tighten the pressure relief valve to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Remove the compressor from the J 41790 .
