Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY .
  3. Loosen the suction hose nut (2) at the accumulator.
  4. Disconnect the suction hose from the accumulator.

  5. Remove the A/C compressor hose block fitting nut (1) from the accumulator.
  6. Disconnect the A/C compressor hose from the accumulator.

  7. Remove the accumulator bracket retaining bolt.

  8. Remove the accumulator bracket bolt clamp.
  9. Remove the accumulator from the mounting bracket.
