Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari and 2002 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the grille emblem to the grille.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES .
  2. Install the nuts to the back side of the grille emblem.
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the emblem nuts to the grille to 2.5 N.m (22 in. lb.).
  3. Install the grille to the vehicle. Refer to Grille Replacement .
