Test Description
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Cadillac Escalade EXT. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 2: Tests the EVO solenoid circuits in there active state using the scan tool.
- 3: Tests if the EVO solenoid resistance is with in specified range.
- 4: Tests for poor connections at the EVO solenoid harness connector.
- 5: Tests if the control module is supplying a ground to the EVO solenoid.
- 6: Tests for a short to ground on the EVO solenoid control circuit.
- 12: Program the ESC module/BCM after replacement.
