Symptoms - Seat Belts: Notes

Important:  The following steps must be completed before using the symptom tables:

  1. Perform the DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - SEAT BELTS  before using the symptom tables in order to verify that there are no body control module (BCM) diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) set.
  2. Review the seat belt system description and operation in order to familiarize yourself with how the system functions. Refer to SEAT BELT SYSTEM DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION  .
