Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Remove the rear tires and wheels. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the rocker panel to rear wheelhouse liner screws.
  4. Using J 38778  remove the lower quarter panel to rear wheelhouse liner push-in retainers.
  5. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rear wheel house palnuts.
  6. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner from the vehicle.
