Removal Procedure

- Open the rear compartment.
- Remove the 2 inner plugs from the compartment lid.
- Remove the nuts (mastic washers) from the studs on the rear end spoiler and discard.
- Heat the rear end spoiler mounting positions, using a heat gun J 25070
152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
Apply the heat using a circular motion for about 30 seconds.
- Remove the rear end spoiler from the rear compartment lid using a small plastic flat-bladed tool.
- Remove all adhesive from the body panel using 3MTM™ scotch brite molding adhesive remover disk 3MTM™ P/N 07501 or equivalent.
- Clean the body panel using Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha.
