Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to COMPARTMENT LID REPLACEMENT - REAR  .
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid struts. Refer to STRUT REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT LID  .
  3. Use a grease pencil to mark the hinge to the quarter panel for the location at installation.
  4. Remove the bolts from hinge at the quarter panel.
  5. Remove the hinge.
